We’ve found that the best home offices we’ve created so far are loft style. Having a home office loft allows you to keep an eye on the little ones while having enough distance to join Zoom calls and finish projects.
Another recommendation is not to include a closet in the design of your new home office. Especially if you’re in a hurry, adding a closet to the office means that the new room would need a permit because it’s considered a bedroom, which takes longer to get than the permits for rooms without closets.
