BRENDA L. LONG
Brenda joined the Shirey Home Pro team in 2008. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of bookkeeping. As the bookkeeper, Brenda oversees the company’s financial operations, such as invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. She also is in charge of completing the regular taxes and covers any human resource needs.
Her favorite thing about her job is the variety of responsibilities she covers and how it keeps her busy. She enjoys the opportunity to use her bookkeeping skills to take the business’s financial side off Shirey’s owner, Jon Elkins, and the talented carpenters’ plates so that they can focus on clients’ projects. She’s excited to see how Shirey Home Pro will thrive when the COVID-19 pandemic comes to a close.
In her free time, Brenda enjoys reading and crocheting. She also has quite the travel bug! She has cruised through the Mexican Riviera, the Greek islands, and the Caribbean islands. She has also visited London, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
