With a decade’s worth of experience in the carpentry trade, Edgar joined the Shirey Home Pro team in May of 2024. As a Lead Carpenter and Lead Handyman, he oversees projects, determines which materials are best to execute work properly, and provides other SHP team members with hands-on assistance in their projects. Edgar believes clients continually choose Shirey Home Pro because the communication is clear and the service is high quality. His favorite thing about being a carpenter and handyman is getting to work on a different project every day, effectively providing him the opportunity to put all of his skills to use and maybe even learn something new! His greatest talents are framing, decking, and remodeling. He enjoys our weekly team meetings, during which he learns from his fellow team members. His favorite memory of working at SHP so far was the team meeting spent painting the pumpkins you see around the office in October. Friends describe Edgar as resilient, courageous, and kind. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, watching football, and relaxing in the great outdoors.
